We are getting there. Slowly, but surely, the farm gets more functional and we get more settled in as each week goes by. It is getting to the point where we have found our "routine" at the new place. You honestly don't realize how embedded your daily routine is until it is taken away from you! Simple things like mixing grain, but the order of stalls is different...not remembering which side of the stall is the feed bucket versus the water bucket...But for the most part, the routine is starting to be fairly established.
I have a little idea spinning in my brain, about a possible clinic...it is still in the developing stages of my mind (SCARY!) but I think it would go over quite well...stay tuned for updates if all goes as planned!
The wash racks are matted, and the last two stalls have been matted and bedded, ready for new occupants. One will be arriving the week after Christmas, while the next is still up for grabs! We have had a blast showing the new place and getting to know new horsey connections. The new farm is a total blessing, and we are having an absolute
